Dynamo Dresden Celebrates Its Third Win Of The Season In Rostock:

Dynamo Dresden's quick starters have established themselves in the top group of the 2nd Bundesliga after a win at Hansa Rostock. It was the third success in the fourth game.

Dynamo Dresden won the intense duel of the newly promoted East German players at Hansa Rostock with 3: 1 (1: 1) on Saturday evening (August 21, 2021) in front of 14,500 spectators.

The Saxons are undefeated as second in the table after four games. Heinz Mörschel took the lead after just 35 seconds for Dynamo.

Stream Mamba (43rd minute) equalized for the long-time equal hosts, he let the ball drain from his chest and volleyed it into the goal. Panagiotis Vlachodimos (63rd) and Julius Kade (70th) scored their third win of the season in Dresden.

The explosive east duel started turbulently. Mörschel pushed the ball over the line after a rebound with his chest - a dream start.

Then Rostock's Calogero Rizzuto had to leave the field with a bloody nose (12th), followed five minutes later by Dynamo captain Tim Knipping, who got stuck in the grass.

Rostock got back into the game through Mamba's goal. And in the second half, too, Hansa had more parts of the game. But Dresden consistently used its few opportunities.

After a cross from Christoph Daferner, Vlachodimos headed a 2-1 lead for the guests. Shortly afterwards, Kade dusted off after a header from Philipp Hosiner to 3-1. Hansa was defeated.

Riots before kick-off:

In the run-up to the second division east duel, there had been riots by hostile fan groups in front of the Hansa Stadium.

A spokeswoman for the Rostock police told the Sports Information Service (SID) on Saturday evening that several people had been arrested two hours before kick-off during a major operation.

The police separated the 180 rioters. "Pyrotechnics and protective equipment such as denture guards and gloves" were found among Dresden fans. Which side had provoked the dispute initially remained open.

Rostock will now play for Werder Bremen on Sunday (29.08.2021) at 1.30 p.m. Dresden receives SC Paderborn at the same time.
