The commitment of Michael Wendler is one of the new jurors of "Germany Seeks The superstar" continues to cause an uproar - and not only in a positive sense.

Shooting for the new season of the casting show scheduled for Wednesday (October 7th) will definitely take place without the pop singer, "There are three jury members for today's shoot in action.

As a reason for the failure, Wendler initially gives a bad joke and then traffic problems in his adopted home, the USA.

The rumour that he could not participate because of a possible corona infection was due to a thoughtless statement, as he now explains,

In any case, it is not true that he suffers from a fever or a dry cough: "That was a joke, in retrospect maybe not a good one. I said that to an employee.

Flight and therefore also missed the shoot:

Instead, traffic is again to blame. Even at the first press conference for the new "DSDS" season, Wendler arrived a few minutes late - at that time his driver had not found the way, according to the musician.

He gave a similar reason now: "Due to traffic chaos on the way from Miami to New York," he missed the flight. "There was a major accident."

He will therefore only be able to sit on his jury chair with a few days' delay: "I will not come to Germany until the weekend and be back at 'DSDS' next week."

The pop singer and his girlfriend Laura Müller (19) had recently flown back to the USA.
