Television network YouTube TV has increased prices by 30 per cent, adding more channels. YouTube TV raised the price of its live TV service to $64.99, up 30 per cent from its previous rate.

The new prices are now valid for new sign-ups. Current customers will see the change reflected in their statement from July 30th.

"We don’t take these decisions lightly, and realize how difficult it is for our members," Christian Ostlien, vice president of product management at YouTube TV, said in a blog post.

YouTube TV, now the most expensive cable replacement, has millions of subscribers, has Hulu + Live TV, at $ 54.99 a month, topping the industry with 3.3 million subscribers.

But YouTube TV hopes to close this gap by plugging the dazzling hole in its channel offers.

The price increase comes with the addition of several Viacom networks to the lineup: BET, CMT, Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon, Paramount Network, TV Land and VH1.

The service now offers more than 85 more channels, including BT Rate, MTV2, MTV Classic, Nick Jr., Nectuns and TeenNick.

YouTube TV features the best-in-class DVR and interface and is generous with six accounts per family.

Nevertheless, the service lacks the core content of the programming that Hulu offers and the huge library.

Also, when combined with any internet plan, the price of YouTube TV is comparable to cable.

Television network YouTube TV's monthly subscription has rapidly increased to $64.99:

Television network YouTube TV has announced that it will increase its monthly price from $ 50 to $64.99 as it launches eight channels on VaccomCBS: BET, CMT, Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon, Paramount Network, TV Land, and VH1.

The new price is effective for any new customer today when existing customers should see it in their next billing cycle (July 30 or later).

The $15 price increase marks the latest price increase on YouTube TV, which was $35 per month when it first launched.

With the addition of Turner networks (including TBS, TNT, CNN, Adult Swimming, Cartoon Network, TrueTV, and Turner Classic Movies), the price was increased to $40 per month in early 2018.

Adding a lineup of YouTube TV discovery networks, spending in 2019 rose again to $50 a month.

And now, with the addition of the aforementioned viacomCBS channels, it is jumping to its highest price ever, at. $4.99 per month.

Original announcement by the news channels, YouTube TV is expected to receive BET Rate, MTV 2, Nick Jr., Nichtunus, TeenNick, and MTV Classic in the future, although they are not part of today's launch.

For comparison, the Hulu Live TV plan costs $54.99 (the price includes access to the Hulu library, but lacks the unlimited DVR storage that Youtubes TV offers), AT&T TV starts at $55 per month (with a hefty increase after 12 months), And the full plan for sling TV costs 45 45 per month.

There may be some concerns that YouTube TV is running close to the actual cable price, but there are some advantages to Google's top-notch service when it comes to the extra hardware, and almost no cable set-top, with less hassle of easy access to almost any device with an Internet connection. Much better UI than the box.
