Action movie The Incredible Hulk 2008 Actor Mark Ruffalo Missing:

'The Incredible Hulk' (2008) is one of the first films of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But Hulk is not played by Actor Mark Ruffalo, but by Edward Norton.

Actor Mark Ruffalo plays Bruce Banner aka Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But that was not always so.

In "The Incredible Hulk" (2008), one of the earliest films of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it was Edward Norton ("Fight Club", 1999) who played the role for director Louis Leterrier.

But as the "Transporter 2" director Leterrier later revealed, he wanted Actor Mark Ruffalo for the role from the start. For this reason, the studio preferred Edward Norton and then dropped it again.

The Incredible Hulk 2008 - That's why Actor Mark Ruffalo is missing as Hulk in the Marvel film:

Actor Mark Ruffalo originally would have played Bruce Bunner alias Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe much earlier.

If only the director Louis Leterrier had been given his first choice for the leading role in "The Incredible Hulk".

Because Leterrier was not taken with the idea of casting Edward Norton as Bruce Banner. He preferred the independent film Actor Mark Ruffalo for the role.

This did not fit Marvel Studios into their program, who preferred to rely on the two-time Oscar-nominated and then more famous Edward Norton to reanimate the "Hulk" franchise.

"The Incredible Hulk" was the second official film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe after "Iron Man" (2008) and was to present a new Hulk with Edward Norton and still be a sequel to the floppy 2003 "Hulk" with Eric Bana as Bruce Banner.

However, creative differences between Edward Norton and Marvel Studios led to the actor being dropped and from "The Avengers" (2012) Actor Mark Ruffalo playing the green antihero with the superpowers.

That's why Mark Ruffalo should be happy about 'The Incredible Hulk' 2008:

In retrospect, Actor Mark Ruffalo, whom Louis Leterrier later cast for his hit "Die Unfassbaren - Now You See Me" (2012), can only be happy that he did not play in "The Incredible Hulk".

Because the film was not so well received by fans and critics and is something like the forgotten MCU film.

Ruffalo's first appearance as Hulk in "The Avengers" was much better received and is considered the best interpretation of the cult figure in the cinema to date.

On June 5, 2020, RTL II will show "The Incredible Hulk" on TV from 8:15 p.m. That's why Marvel star Edward Norton doesn't like the Marvel films so much.

In "American History X" (1998) Norton played his most brutal role so far. That's why the Marvel film "Elektra" flopped with Jennifer Garner.
