Canadian actor Nick Cordo:

Broadway actor Nick Cordo is doing even better, his wife said, after going “slightly uphill” on Wednesday in the fight against the coronavirus.

Cordaro, 41, woke up from a medical-induced coma he had been in since April last week. On Wednesday, his wife, fitness instructor Amanda actor Nick Cordo, posted a tearful update, asking for prayer.

"Actor Nick Cordo's morning has been very bad. Unfortunately, there's been a bit of a downturn at the moment," he said in tears. 'I know this virus isn't going to get him down. His story doesn't end that way.

“So one of the things I’ve learned about this whole process is that ICU land is one step ahead, two steps behind,” he explained. "And that's kind of what happened to us in the last 24 hours."

Clots thanked her fans for their prayers and support during this time, as well as the doctors and nurses who took care of the corridor at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

“It was another roller coaster but it went to the doctors and nurses in Cedars-Sinai, the power of prayer and the power and the power of support,” he said. "The positivity is, I'm sorry, not responsible."

Clatts first shared that Cordardo had been ill on Instagram since April 1, with a loss of his legs and severe lung damage - he was posting updates on his health and asking friends and family to share their thoughts and prayers online.

Initially, he asked people to post on social media with the hashtag #WakeUpNick but changed it to #coderkey after coming out of a coma last week.

Clots added in his emotional video on Thursday night that his faith at this point is his strength.
