The 25th edition of the agent thriller is scheduled for release on November 12th. It is the third time that the premiere has been postponed.

Many cinema viewers had been looking forward to the release of the 25th James Bond film in April.

It was announced on Wednesday that they would have to wait a little longer to see the production entitled "No Time to Die".

The film studio Universal Pictures announced together with the producers Michael Wilson and Barbara Broccoli and the film production company MGM that the release of the new James Bond film will be delayed:

Due to a "careful evaluation of the international cinema market," it was decided that the film would not be like planned to start in early April. British media assume a connection with the coronavirus.

"The film will be released in the United Kingdom on November 12, 2020," the statement said, and a release in the US is also planned for November.

The film is also set to hit theatres on November 12 in Germany. This will postpone the premiere of the new film by seven months.

Originally, the film should have been released in cinemas in Germany on April 2, ticket sales had already started.

Because of the coronavirus, however, the entire advertising tour for the new James Bond film in China had previously been cancelled.
