Pokemon Nintendo Direct:

At Nintendo Direct for Pokémon, the Japanese presented "Pokémon Mystery Dungeon" for the Switch and the expansion pass for "Sword & Shield".

At first, it was just rumoured, then Nintendo made it official. On January 9, 2020, there was a new Nintendo Direct dedicated to Pokémon.

Nintendo has a look at the future of Pokémon. Fans can look forward to "Pokémon Mystery Dungeon". A remake of the 14-year-old "Nintendo DS" game for the Nintendo Switch.

Nintendo Direct - Pokémon Sword & Shield Expansion Pass:

'Pokemon Mystery Dungeon' will be released on March 6, 2020. A demo version is now available. Nintendo also showed the expansion pass for "Pokémon Sword & Shield" at Pokémon Direct.

The pass brings new adventures to the game and costs 29.99 euros. This includes new areas such as the "Isle of Armor", the snow area "The Snow Land of the Crown", new outfit options and more Pokémon.

At the end of June 2020, the "Isle of Armor" comes. The "Snow Land of the Crown" will appear in autumn 2020. Both new areas are in the expansion pass.

Each part will contain unknown areas of the gala region. Players can also find Pokémon not previously included on the new cards. There are said to be up to 200 new pocket monsters.

The new mentor Mastrich gives the player the new legendary Pokémon Dakuma on the "Isle of Armor".

With this, you have to defeat two new opponents. Depending on the version - "sword" or "shield" players fight against Sophora or Saverio.

The "Snowlands of the Crown" bring snow biomes and the legendary Pokémon Coronospa. It also brings a new co-op mode.

There, players can catch legendary Pokémon from other games. There will also be free updates for players without an expansion pass. These can be exchanged for the new Pokémon.

Pokemon direct - What is 'Pokémon Home'?

"Pokémon Home" is a cloud service for pocket monsters. With the Pokémon service, players should be able to swap across multiple games.

"Pokémon Home" is compatible with the games "Pokémon Go", "Pokémon Let's Go" and "Pokémon Sword & Shield". Nintendo plans to release more details in the course of the February 2020 release.

Pokemon Nintendo Direct: No new information about "Pokémon Sleep:

What Nintendo didn't address on Nintendo Direct was "Pokémon Sleep". It is an app to help you sleep. The basis for this is probably "Pokémon Go".

Again, Nintendo and The Pokémon Company are closed. The app should enable Pokémons to be trained even while sleeping. Simply put, "Pokémon Sleep" is a sleep tracker.

Players can use it by starting "Pokémon Sleep" before bed and putting the smartphone on the mattress.

The device's sensors record how calm and how long players sleep. This information could then be used to develop Pokémon.

Pokemon direct - The Pokémon has never seen this before:

This has never been done before: The Pokémon role-playing games "Sword & Shield" receive extensions for the first time with a Season Pass. BILD reveals what else is happening in the world of Pokémon.

Pokemon direct - New regions, new monsters:

Until now, it was common for the two main games to be expanded by a third edition, but the currently successful “Pokémon: Sword & Shield” will receive paid downloadable content (DLCs) in 2020, which will also be available in a Season Pass.

"Isle of Armor" appears in June, "Snow Land of the Crown" in autumn (30 euros each). Both add-ons bring new regions, each with their own new Pokémon (also legendary!), New trainers and costumes.

What fans should be particularly pleased about: At the same time as the expansions, 200 old Pokémon will find their way into the games.

The purchase of additional content is not necessary, because the classic monsters can also be exchanged with other players.

Pokemon direct - Pokémon Home is coming:

Nintendo also announced the release of Pokémon Home in February. This is cloud storage that can be used to import Pokémon from older games (such as "Pokémon Go" and "Pokémon: Let's Play") into the new role-playing games.

Another game, "Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX" (2006), was also announced as a new edition for Nintendo Switch.

In the game, Pokémon fans slip into the roles of little monsters themselves. Date: March 6, 2020.
