Greta Thunberg

Greta Thunberg :

On Twitter, Greta Thunberg is now called "Sharon". The renaming initially causes astonishment.

Then it becomes clear: there is an allusion to a British quiz show - and Thunberg's already known humour.

3.9 million people follow her on Twitter: the 17-year-old Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg. Or should one say better: Sharon?

This name surprisingly appeared on the official profile of the Fridays for Future pioneer. Many of their fans were amazed at the sudden renaming of Greta Thunberg.

What is behind the new name of the Swede? The answer comes from a short video of the British celebrity quiz show "Celebrity Mastermind".

Actress Amanda Henderson, 33, took part here - and embarrassed herself when asked about Greta Thunberg.

When the quizmaster asked which Swedish climate activist would have published the book "No One Is Too Small to Make a Difference", Henderson looked puzzled and replied: "Sharon".

Greta Thunberg promptly changed her name. In the past, she had used her Twitter profile for humorous tips.

When US President Donald Trump mocked Greta Thunberg's emotional speech at the UN climate summit that she looked like a very happy young girl looking forward to a bright and wonderful future,

the 17-year-old wrote in her profile: "A very happy young girl Girl who looks forward to a bright and wonderful future. "

When the Brazilian climate change sceptic Jair Bolsonaro called her "brat", Greta Thunberg also included this name in her profile.
