Tamara Ecclestone

Tamara Ecclestone:

Tamara Ecclestone was stolen from her townhouse in Kensington in just 50 minutes of jewellery worth 60 million euros. The neighbourhood is scared.

Tamara Ecclestone has been robbed in her London property, according to several media reports, and a spokesman for the family confirmed.

The daughter of former Formula 1 boss Bernie Ecclestone was the victim of jewel theft at her property in Kensington.

As the British "Sun" wants to know, the stolen pieces of jewellery are worth £ 50m, or about € 60m.

Ecclestone and her husband Jay Rutland were reportedly on their way to a Christmas vacation at the time of the break-in.

A security guard had guarded the 57-room house near Kensington Palace but hadn't noticed the intruders for nearly an hour.

After about 50 very lucrative minutes, they were able to flee. In a post on Instagram, the 36-year-old refers to the theft:

The quotation from the Bible draws attention:

"Because there is nothing hidden that will not be revealed and nothing secret that should not be recognized and should be revealed."Ecclestone writes in her post.

Some comments below the post speak of "betrayal" - the circumstances make it suspect that the burglars were provided with inside information. Scotland Yard investigates the case and asks for clues.

The neighbourhood of the rich and famous:

The neighbourhood in the posh area is now unsettled. "It's one of the most secure houses in London on one of the most secure streets in London," a concerned neighbour is quoted by the Sun as saying.

Among others, Prince William and his wife Duchess Kate live nearby, the owner of Chelsea football club, Roman Abramovich, has a villa there and China's richest man, Wang Jianlin, is part of the neighbourhood.
