Zoe Kravitz has landed a new big role on land. The popular actress is to take on the role of "Catwoman" in the new "Batman" movie.

Preparations for the new Batman movie are in progress. Now it is also clear who will take over the role of "Catwoman". 

As "The Hollywood Reporter" reports, Zoe Kravitz (30) has grabbed the iconic part. Zoe is the daughter of rock singer Lenny Kravitz and "Bill Cosby Show" star Lisa Bonet.

She has appeared in such films as "Mad Max: Fury Road" and "Fantastic Beasts: Grindelwald's Crime."

Zoe Kravitz is said to have prevailed in the casting against Ana de Armas, Ella Balinska and Eiza Gonzalez.

It is not the first time that the 30-year-old is allowed to assert herself as a "Catwoman". In "The LEGO Batman Movie" she lent her voice to the character.
